Sadettin Saran explains why he is stepping down from Fenerbahçe presidency
Following the Fenerbahçe Women's Football Team's championship victory, Sadettin Saran shared the reasoning behind his decision to withdraw from the presidential role with the public.
The Fenerbahçe arsaVev Women's Football Team achieved a historic success by defeating Ünye Women's Sports Club 8-0 on their home turf in the 29th week of the Turkcell Women's Football Super League, securing the championship title. At the conclusion of the match, Fenerbahçe Club President Sadettin Saran made significant statements.
Stating that he will not be a candidate for the presidency ahead of the extraordinary elective general assembly to be held on June 6-7, Saran shared his thoughts on why he is leaving the presidential post as follows:
"If we win one more trophy, I believe we will become the administration that has won the most trophies. These 7 months passed very quickly. We formed a great team. We gave our days and nights to this."
In his speech, where he emphasized his commitment to Fenerbahçe, Saran said, "As we leave here, no one is leaving as a 'Sadettin supporter.' We all left for Fenerbahçe. We will support those who come after us."
