Sakaryaspor President resigns after 5-0 defeat to Gençlerbirliği

“Serving our club was a great honor and responsibility for me. Since the day I took office, I have worked with all my might for the benefit of our team. I am stepping down from my position.to allow the team to continue its path with fresh motivationand toensure this, I am stepping downfrom my positionas president. Duringmy tenure, I always felt the support ofour Sakarya Governor Mr. Rahmi Doğan, our AK Party Deputy Chairman Mr. Ali İhsan Yavuz, andTürk-To our General President Mr. Ergün Atalay, our Sakarya Members of Parliament, our MetropolitanMayor Mr. Yusuf Alemdar, our DistrictMayors,our esteemed business people, our sponsoring firms, the valuable representatives of our press, ourboard of directors and my teammates who workedday and night, and those working at our clubwho workedto all our staff members, and to our fans who have supported me since the first day I took office, I thank the green-black loving supporters who never withheld their support, and I wish all our communityI ask for your forgiveness.
