Samsunspor qualifies for the play-offs

In the 6th and final week of the UEFA Conference League, our representative Samsunspor, who were guests at Mainz, were defeated 2-0 by their opponent, missing the opportunity to enter the top 8 in the group stage. Our representative will play in the play-offs to advance to the round of 16.

In the sixthand final week matchofthe UEFA Conference League, our representative Samsunspor was a guest of the German team Mainz away from home.

The home team won the match played at the Mainz Arena 2-0.

The goals that brought victory to Mainz were scored by Widmer in the 44th minute and Amiri from a penalty in the 48th minute.

Following this result, Mainz increased its points to 13and qualified for the top 8managed to do so. Samsunspor, having missed the chance for the top 8, remained at 10 points. Having already guaranteed a spot in the top 24, our representative will continue its journey in the UEFA Conference League by playing in the round of 16play-offs to advance.

Having finished the league phase of the Conference League in 12th place, Samsunspor will face the teams ranked 21st or 22nd in the play-off roundto secure a ticket to the round of 16.ranked teams.
