Samsunspor wins but bids farewell to Europe
Samsunspor defeated Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in the UEFA Conference League Round of 16 second leg, but was eliminated from European competition due to their 3-1 loss in the first leg.

The Spanish side Rayo Vallecano, coached by Inigo Perez, and our representative Samsunspor, managed by Thorsten Fink, faced off at the Estadio de Vallecas in a match officiated by German referee Sascha Stegemann.

SAMSUNSPOR WINS THE SECOND LEG
Samsunspor emerged victorious in the second leg of the tie, which had ended with a 3-1 advantage for Rayo Vallecano in the first match.
The critical encounter concluded with a 1-0 victory for our representative.
WE BID FAREWELL TO EUROPE
While Vallecano advanced to the quarterfinals with a 3-2 aggregate score, Samsunspor bid farewell to Europe.
Vallecano will compete against the Slovenian team Celje in the quarterfinals for a spot in the semifinals.

NDIAYE SCORED THE ONLY GOAL
Cherif Ndiaye scored the goal that secured the victory for Samsunspor in the 65th minute.

ZEKI RECEIVED A RED CARD
In our representative Samsunspor, captain Zeki Yavru received a red card while on the bench in the 90+3rd minute.
