Selçuk İnan linked to Kocaelispor!

Kocaelispor, continuing its preparations for the Süper Lig after returning to the top flight following a long absence, remains in search of a head coach. Club president Recep Durul, who is expected to announce the new manager within a few days, had previously stated that he and the transfer committee were working on a shortlist of 5-6 names. Developments continue at Kocaelispor, which had met with experienced coach Hikmet Karaman, a figure with a history at the club, but failed to reach the signing stage.

It has been learned that after Hikmet Karaman, who faced backlash from a significant portion of the fanbase, the transfer committee will meet on Wednesday with Selçuk İnan, a name viewed favorably by the community. It was also stated that a second meeting with Karaman would depend on the outcome of the talks between İnan and Kocaelispor, with İnan having also been linked to an Istanbul team since parting ways with Gaziantep FK on May 10.

Whether Selçuk İnan—who began his managerial career at Kasımpaşa after retiring as a player at Galatasaray and had a successful stint with Gaziantep FK—will reach an agreement with the Gulf side, which has returned to the Süper Lig after 16 years and plans to set high-ranking targets, will be shaped by the upcoming meeting.
