Şenol Güneş speaks after Kasımpaşa draw

Trabzonspor drew 2-2 at home against Kasımpaşa in the 15th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. Manager Şenol Güneş made statements at the press conference held after the match.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the result, Güneş said, "Whatever word we use, it doesn't fill the void. We left with our heads bowed; we didn't expect this."

Evaluating the match in general, Güneş added, "When we took the field, our stance was correct. However, because we played at a slow tempo, this played into the opponent's hands. The goal we conceded was entirely our fault. After we took a 2-1 lead, the equalizer came, and we had trouble with our set defense. Despite this, we were good after 2-1 and found opportunities. Looking at the game as a whole, it was a match with some positives, but the result was not what we wanted. Staying too far from the opponent increased their appetite."

Güneş noted that they are struggling with finding an ideal squad, concluding his remarks by saying, "We haven't been able to establish an ideal squad. Trabzonspor will reach a level where it plays better with this roster. We will be sad, but I shared with the players that we need to build on this to get back on our feet. It was a match that did not provide enjoyment to the players or the spectators."
