Serdal Adalı announces his candidacy for Beşiktaş presidency

The Extraordinary Elective General Assembly Meeting at Beşiktaş will take place on December 29. Former Beşiktaş vice president Serdal Adalı also announced his candidacy through a post on his social media account.

Adalı stated, "The situation our Beşiktaş has been exposed to in the public eye in recent days, along with all the mutual accusations made, has caused events unprecedented in our 121-year history. No one has the right to make the Beşiktaş community, which is the pioneer, the apple of the eye, and the greatest of Turkish sports, experience these days.

Moreover, those who have made our Beşiktaş experience these days are, instead of saying 'We failed, we apologize,' becoming candidates for this noble office, aspiring to serve in our Beşiktaş as if expecting a reward for the last year. Those responsible must first account for what has been done. Do not forget that you cannot solve a problem with those who created it!

In order not to experience these and similar processes that our community has witnessed ever again, and not to make our Beşiktaş experience such days again, I am a candidate for the Beşiktaş Presidency in our Ordinary General Assembly dated December 29, 2024. I will share the information regarding our roadmap for the future of our Beşiktaş at a press conference I will hold on Friday, December 13. What matters is Beşiktaş."
