Beşiktaş defeated MKE Ankaragücü 2-0 in the match they hosted during the 33rd week of the Süper Lig. With this victory, the black-and-whites, who met with a win after a 5-match hiatus, also achieved an interesting statistic. The Eagles have managed to secure 3 points in all 5 matches they have played since changing their head coach this season. Serdar Topraktepe made statements after the match.
Evaluating the match, Serdar Topraktepe said, "The entire community and our players needed this victory. Our players showed character today. We are happy to have secured the win. I just tried to make them feel unity, togetherness, and that our players are good. I convinced them that the Beşiktaş jersey is very great and that they are worthy of this jersey. They fought in a way worthy of the jersey. For me, the most important thing was the fight. The Turkish Cup will be more difficult. We will prepare for that. Our goal is the Turkish Cup. Hopefully, we will prepare for that match in the best way possible."
