Galatasaray has announced that their new signing, Serge Aurier, has sustained an injury.
According to a statement from Galatasaray, their new signing Serge Aurier was injured during the Ivory Coast vs. Nigeria match.
The statement included the following:
"Our new signing Serge Aurier felt pain in his posterior thigh muscle group during the match his country, Ivory Coast, played against Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations final. Upon his arrival in Turkey, an MRI scan performed at our sponsor hospital, Medicana, revealed a second-degree strain (tearing and bleeding) in the relevant muscle group, and his treatment has begun."
