Sergen Yalçın responded to Borussia Dortmund manager Nuri Şahin on the Kafa Sports YouTube channel, where he works as a commentator.

Maintaining that he had not used disparaging words about Nuri Şahin, Sergen Yalçın said, "He could reach very good places. I said you cannot get anywhere without achieving any success. It seems they sensed a promise of a future in Nuri Şahin, which I think is the case, but for Nuri to turn around and give such answers is very absurd."
