The names set to leave Beşiktaş, which aims to reshape its squad during the mid-season transfer window, are gradually becoming clear. While the situations of Mert Günok and Necip Uysal had previously come to the fore, a decision to part ways with two more players has been made at the Black and White club.
In accordance with the report submitted by Head Coach Sergen Yalçın, a decision was reached not to continue with Jonas Svensson and David Jurasek. It has been learned that the management plans to terminate the contracts of both players to make room in the squad for new signings.
Swedish right-back Jonas Svensson, who joined Beşiktaş on a free transfer after leaving Adana Demirspor in January 2024, found limited playing time in the Black and White jersey. Svensson contributed 2 assists in the 10 matches he played.
Czech left-back David Jurasek, who was loaned from Benfica for one year at the beginning of the season, failed to produce any goal contributions despite appearing in 17 matches. The Beşiktaş management is expected to accelerate its transfer efforts following the departure of the two players.
