Sergen Yalçın: Our only thought is to win the cup

In the Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter-finals, Beşiktaş defeated Corendon Alanyaspor 3-0 at home to secure their place in the semi-finals.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Beşiktaş manager Sergen Yalçın said, "The cup is the most important goal for us. Our only thought is to win the cup. I have had to deal with problems in every aspect.

My job should only be on the pitch, but it is not easy to solve the problems that have been going on for 5 years. We are dealing with many issues. We are slowly reaching the solution stage. I had said that we need 2-3 transfer windows. When you are unsuccessful, you don't have the time to fix these things. I think winning a Turkish Cup here will relieve our community to some extent and buy us time.
