Shake-up at Fenerbahçe! Parting ways with 4 names
Cihan Kamer stated that Fenerbahçe will part ways with Becao, Diego Carlos, and Çağlar Söyüncü, and that they are waiting for the Talisca transfer to be finalized.
As the final days of the transfer window approach at Fenerbahçe, a notable statement regarding squad planning has come from the management. Cihan Kamer, the executive in charge of the football branch, indicated during a sponsorship ceremony that some departures are on the agenda for the yellow-navy team.
Kamer stated that they are moving toward parting ways with Rodrigo Becao, Diego Carlos, and Çağlar Söyüncü, and expressed that this step would complete the squad planning. Explaining that Jayden Oosterwolde's transfer did not materialize due to his injury, Kamer announced that the player will be evaluated in the reserve squad and will undergo surgery.
The yellow-navy executive reminded that while the transfer window has closed in Europe, the process continues until September 4 in Turkey. Kamer mentioned that efforts are ongoing for a young player under the age of 23, and that if the transfer does not happen, it will not be seen as a significant problem.
Touching upon the club's financial obligations, Kamer drew attention to the situation regarding the departing players. Kamer said, "We are sending Diego Carlos away, but we will still pay 8 million Euros in transfer fees. We are not receiving any transfer fees for those we send away. We sent Amrabat, but there is an 8 million Euro transfer installment."
Regarding Talisca, Kamer stated that they are waiting for the process to conclude and said that the player has contributed to Fenerbahçe. "Hopefully, we will send Talisca off with the applause of all our fans," said Kamer, expressing their hope that the file will be clarified within the day.
