As Galatasaray continues its squad planning for the new season, rumors of departures for several players have emerged one after another. Transfer news regarding the futures of Lucas Torreira, Mario Lemina, and Victor Nelsson has come to the forefront for the Yellow-Red team.
It is claimed that Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira wants to return to Italy, and it has been stated that he is being linked with his former club, Fiorentina. Italian journalist Nicolo Schira wrote that Fiorentina has reached an agreement in principle with Torreira and that the transfer could take place if Fagioli departs.
Interest from Saudi Arabia is also said to persist for another name in the midfield, Mario Lemina. According to a report by HT Spor, Al-Shabab has stepped up its efforts for the experienced footballer. It was reported that the Saudi club informed Galatasaray that their previous offer of 6 million dollars remains valid.
While it is suggested that the possibility of Lemina's departure is growing stronger, the name of Victor Nelsson has also entered the transfer agenda for the defense. According to Sky Sport, Italian Serie A side Monza has made contact with Galatasaray for the Danish center-back.
There has been no official statement from the Galatasaray side regarding these claims. Developments during the transfer window are expected to become clear based on the technical staff's squad planning and the club's response to the offers received.
