Juventus has made its final decision regarding Paul Pogba, who tested positive for doping and is facing a requested 4-year ban from football.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus will terminate Pogba's contract if his ban from football is finalized.
It is stated that Paul Pogba, who does not want to enter into a legal dispute with Juventus, is prepared to terminate his contract by mutual consent. If an agreement cannot be reached, Juve will terminate the player's contract unilaterally.
SUSPENDED FROM FOOTBALL!
The Anti-Doping Prosecutor's Office had requested a 4-year ban for the French midfielder for the use of a prohibited substance. Following his positive doping test, 30-year-old Pogba has been suspended from football competitions until a final decision is reached.
POGBA'S DEFENSE
On the other hand, according to the report, despite the heavy penalty requested against him, Pogba has begun preparations to convince the panel that he did not use the testosterone hormone consciously or with malicious intent.
Paul Pogba was only able to play for 161 minutes in a Juventus jersey last season. The experienced midfielder's contract is set to expire in June 2026.
