FIBA has announced that the Basketball Champions League home matches for our representatives, Bursaspor İnfo Yatırım and Galatasaray Ekmas, against Israeli teams will be played behind closed doors in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The city of Laktasi in Bosnia and Herzegovina will host the group stage matches where Bursaspor İnfo Yatırım and Galatasaray Ekmas were set to host Israeli teams in the Basketball Champions League (BCL).
According to the statement released by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the match between Bursaspor İnfo Yatırım and Hapoel Holon in Group F, and the match between Galatasaray Ekmas and Hapoel Bank Yahav in Group G, will be played behind closed doors at the Laktasi Arena, where the Bosnian BCL representative Igokea plays its home games.
The Bursaspor İnfo Yatırım vs. Hapoel Holon match will take place on Wednesday, November 29, at 21:30 TSI; the Galatasaray Ekmas vs. Hapoel Bank Yahav match will begin at the same time on Thursday, November 30.
The statement also noted that the venues for the matches in question were changed due to security reasons.
