Silence from Antalyaspor regarding Wright transfer allegations!

Following the indefinite transfer ban imposed on Antalyaspor by FIFA recently, it was alleged that the club faced another shock regarding the Haji Wright transfer. 

Turkish Sports Writers Association (TSYD) Antalya Branch President Şifa Çiçek claimed in his article for the Akdeniz Manşet newspaper that approximately 1 million 500 thousand euros had arrived at Antalyaspor in February due to the Haji Wright transfer, but that this money had disappeared. In the remainder of his article, Çiçek alleged that this money went to Osman Şirin, the owner of Ayos Holding, who is part of the Antalyaspor management and was stated to be donating millions of euros to the club. 12punto attempted to contact Antalyaspor to learn whether these allegations were true.

12punto first reached out to Murat Özgen, the Media Officer for the Antalyaspor Club. Özgen stated that he is the media officer at the club and would not be making a statement on this matter, adding that it should be asked to the management. Following this conversation, 12punto called the club via its official phone number. The staff member who answered the phone during this call connected the line back to Antalyaspor media officer Murat Özgen. This staff member also stated that they could not provide the number of anyone from the management, as it was prohibited.

Finally, the club's media officer, Murat Özgen, was contacted this time via WhatsApp. Murat Özgen ended the conversation by reiterating that he was the media officer and could not make a statement on the matter.
