Sinner advances to Australian Open semifinals
Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner has reached the semifinals of the Australian Open. The Italian, who reached the semifinals of the tournament for the first time, will face the number 1 seed Novak Djokovic.

Sinner defeated his opponent 3-0 with sets of 6-4, 7-6, and 6-3 in a match that lasted 2 hours and 39 minutes, reaching the semifinals of the tournament for the first time.
In the semifinals, Sinner will face the number 1 seed, Serbian Novak Djokovic, who is aiming for the 11th Australian Open title of his career.
The two players met in the Wimbledon semifinals last year, where Djokovic emerged victorious with a 3-0 win.
