Solskjaer explains the transformation process at Beşiktaş: We worked with fun, I wanted to restore their self-confidence

Beşiktaş Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke about the team's current situation and future goals in an interview with the Norwegian press. Acknowledging that Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe have larger budgets, Solskjaer stated that Beşiktaş could strengthen by signing different types of players.

Regarding Patrick Berg, he said, "I have great respect for Bodo/Glimt, and Berg has played against Beşiktaş many times. I understand that he is a player the fans want."

When asked how he would define his tenure at Beşiktaş as successful, Solskjaer stated that their primary goals are to climb higher in the league and qualify for European competition. He mentioned that they are currently in the qualifying rounds for Europe and that their goal for next season is to get closer to the top two. Reminding that his contract expires in 2026, Solskjaer stated that they would make a decision about his future at that time.
