Start date for the new season in the Süper Lig has been announced!

The TFF has announced the start and end dates for the 2024-25 season in the Süper Lig.

The statement from the TFF is as follows:

''In its meeting yesterday, the TFF Board of Directors determined the 2024-2025 season plans for the Süper Lig, 1. Lig, and TFF 2. Lig.

Accordingly, the Süper Lig will begin on August 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2024, and the first half of the league will conclude with the 17th-week matches to be played on December 20, 21, 22, and 23, 2024. The second half will begin with the 18th-week matches to be played on January 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2025, and the season will end on June 1, 2025.

In the TFF 1. Lig, the season will begin on August 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2024, and a winter break will be taken after the 17th-week matches played on December 20, 21, 22, and 23, 2024. The second half will begin with the 18th-week matches to be played on January 3, 4, 5, and 6, 2025, and the regular season will end on May 10, 2025. In the TFF 1. Lig, the 24th, 28th, and 33rd-week matches will be played on weekdays.

In the TFF 2. Lig, the season will begin on September 1, 2024, and the first half will end on December 22, 2024. The second half will begin on January 19, 2025, and the regular season will end on May 3, 2025. In the TFF 2. Lig, the 22nd and 29th-week matches will be played on weekdays.''
