In the Süper Lig, Trabzonspor will face Kayserispor away from home. Before the match, Trabzonspor manager Abdullah Avcı made statements.
"THE MOST IMPORTANT MATCH IS THE CURRENT ONE"
Regarding the match, Avcı said, "We are in the right place for our goal of finishing third in the league and our Turkish Cup target. We want to win to maintain our advantageous position in the league. Our opponent is a team that generally does good things but has its ups and downs. The most important match is the current match."
Sharing his squad selection and the latest status of Paul Onuachu, Abdullah Avcı commented, "Squad selection is sometimes based on the opponent, sometimes on player performance. Both teams have a clear focus: the space behind the defense. Enis Destan seems suitable for today's plan. Onuachu is not fully ready, but he can play with a special bandage. It looks like he can probably play for 30 minutes. He has some pain, but we want to use him if we need to during today's process."
"WE WILL SEE THE EFFICIENCY OF THESE OVER TIME"
Abdullah Avcı gave the following response to a question regarding the foreign VAR referee for the match: "I wish him good luck. We have been taken out of the game too much. There are moments when we are very upset. Certain decisions are being made. We will see the efficiency of these over time. I don't know what we will talk about after the championship story is over. We wish the referee success."
