Statement from Al-Nassr regarding En-Nesyri
A statement has come from the Saudi Arabian club regarding Fenerbahçe's Youssef En-Nesyri, whose name has been linked with Al-Nassr.
The name of Youssef En-Nesyri, whom Fenerbahçe added to their squad from Sevilla at the beginning of the season for 19.5 million Euros, has been involved in transfer rumors with Al-Nassr.
It had been claimed that Al-Nassr made an astronomical offer to Fenerbahçe for the Moroccan striker, but that the Yellow-Navy club rejected this offer.
Following recent reports that Talisca would leave Al-Nassr, the Saudi press brought the claims that the Moroccan striker would replace Talisca back to the agenda. News that En-Nesyri is on Al-Nassr's target list and that steps will be taken for this transfer has received extensive coverage in the country's media.
However, Al-Nassr Media Consultant Saeed Abu Dahesh categorically denied these claims. Stating that the reports do not reflect the truth, Dahesh put an end to the transfer rumors.
The 26-year-old Youssef En-Nesyri, who has played in a total of 22 matches in the Süper Lig and UEFA Europa League this season, has played an important role in Fenerbahçe's attacking line with a performance of 9 goals and 3 assists.
On the other hand, the Moroccan striker had gone down in the records as the Yellow-Navy club's most expensive transfer.
