Beşiktaş has provided an update regarding the health status of Leandro Trossard. The black-and-white club announced that traumatic bone edema was detected in the player's heel bone.
According to the club's statement, Trossard felt pain after the Erzurumspor FK match following impacts he received to his heel area in previous matches.
As a result of evaluations by the medical team, as well as MRI and tomography imaging, traumatic bone edema was detected in the player's heel bone, medically known as the calcaneus.
The statement made by the black-and-white club is as follows:
"Following the pain that developed in the heel area of our player Leandro Trossard after the Erzurumspor FK match, caused by impacts to his heel area in previous matches played by our team, traumatic bone edema was detected in his heel bone (calcaneus) following evaluations, MRI, and tomography imaging performed by our medical team.
Treatment for Leandro Trossard has been promptly initiated by our medical team and the treatment process is ongoing."
