Statement from Ertuğrul Doğan regarding Abdülkadir Ömür

Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan made statements regarding the current agenda on A Spor. President Doğan also spoke about the Abdülkadir Ömür transfer.

OUR EUROPEAN GOAL CONTINUES

Stating that Trabzonspor has not moved away from its goals for this season, Ertuğrul Doğan said, "Of course there will be criticism. Especially if you are the president of Trabzonspor Club, there is nothing more natural than this. We have to accept it. We must fight this battle with our fans; Trabzonspor must be one, must be united. It is not possible for the management to achieve this alone. We had very important absences in our squad in the last match. Trabzonspor is currently in 3rd place in the league and has not moved away from its European goal. None of us, neither our coach, nor I, nor the management, accept the results. These are losses we can compensate for. We are not outside the goal we set when our coach arrived. We continue to do our best to reach this goal."

Noting that they have signed the largest stadium sponsorship agreement in the history of Turkish football, Doğan said, "As a Trabzonspor fan, how could I knowingly enter into a transfer move and put my team in trouble without making these agreements? I will never, ever sign off on such a thing. We have made the largest stadium sponsorship in the history of Turkish football. I have made many sponsorship agreements. 130 million euros, look, the figure might seem small, but the figure we will pay as of February 15 will be 130 million euros. I am talking about 130 million euros in 8 months. There is no example of this in Turkish football. 100 million euros of it is non-refundable, it will not return to Trabzonspor. Nearly 30 million euros in management support. Very important real estate projects are continuing, there is the Kartal project that we have brought to the signing stage."

"ABDÜLKADİR ÖMÜR SAID HE WANTED TO LEAVE"

Speaking about the transfer of Abdülkadir Ömür, President Doğan said, "Abdülkadir Ömür said he wanted to leave. If he brings an offer that is in the interests of Trabzonspor, he will leave.
