Ertuğrul Sağlam, who was alleged to be among the candidates for the Beşiktaş managerial position, has issued a statement.
Sağlam, who is currently serving at 1. Lig side Kocaelispor, said, "My only focus is Kocaelispor." In a statement made on his social media account, Ertuğrul Sağlam said, "Even though Beşiktaş will always have a special and separate place in our hearts, we are currently walking toward the goal we believe in and have set with Kocaelispor. A similar process occurred two weeks ago regarding the Azerbaijan National Team. Thank you for the interest, kindness, and beautiful messages. Our only focus is Kocaelispor."
Ertuğrul Sağlam previously served at Beşiktaş between July 2007 and October 2008.
