Statement from Fatih Tekke after resignation: Time to unite

Fatih Tekke's statements are as follows:

Following the defeat we suffered last night, I made a decision entirely on my own initiative amidst the emotional intensity I experienced at the end of the match.

I am aware of the responsibility I bear toward Trabzonspor and this great community. I would like to thank our President, Mr. Ertuğrul Doğan, our Board of Directors, my players, and my technical staff, who have made me feel their trust and support since yesterday.

We possess a very strong and very valuable group of players. As I stated yesterday; we will become a very good team.

We will address our shortcomings, grow stronger with each passing day, and put forth the fight that befits Trabzonspor. We have major goals we want to reach both in the league and in Europe ahead of us. I believe in the strength of this team, the character of my players, and what we can achieve together.
