Statement from Galatasaray Club regarding 'referees'

The Yellow-Red club made an official statement on the X platform regarding the refereeing errors that have occurred.

GALATASARAY'S STATEMENT

"We are watching with concern as the injustices experienced in Turkish football have reached a point devoid of reason and common sense over the last 10 years.

The process, which began with Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Mr. Ali Koç openly threatening referees in his speech containing criminal elements, reached its peak last night with the players of this club shouting and walking towards the referee, and the red cards and penalty decisions that were not given against them. The inability to see a position that even those who know the simplest football rules would call a penalty, despite all the technology and experience available, is very important in terms of showing what the purpose and plan are. It is not possible for the TFF to get out of this chaos without disclosing all VAR records, especially the controversial positions from yesterday, in order to prevent social chaos and bring justice to Turkish football. The attitude the Federation will show today will be decisive in terms of its intentions regarding the future of Turkish football.

"WE WILL BE THE CHAMPIONS THAT EVERYONE APPLAUDS AGAIN"

We know that we are fighting against a mentality that accepts injustice as its own right and considers every way permissible to win. This mentality has only one goal. To make everyone believe that the oppressor will be right. These oppressors, who only want privileges for themselves, have no benefit to Turkish football whatsoever!

Today, we are calling out to our fans. No matter what they do, we are here together! We will act with common sense, being aware of those who try to drag us into an environment that tries to pit brother against brother. We will do the same thing again! We will frustrate the immoral, the bullies, and those who are oppressive with the power of their money and relationships, one by one! We will be the champions that everyone applauds again."
