Galatasaray has announced that Hakim Ziyech, who was injured during the Morocco national team's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Lesotho, has been diagnosed with a second-degree strain (stretching, bleeding, and partial tear) in his right upper posterior muscle group, and that his treatment has begun.
In a statement regarding the matter on the yellow-red club's official website, it was stated: "Our player Hakim Ziyech, who felt pain in his right upper posterior muscle during the Morocco national team's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Lesotho, has been diagnosed with a second-degree strain (stretching, bleeding, and partial tear) in his right upper posterior muscle group following examinations at our sponsor hospital, Medicana, and his treatment has begun."
