In recent days, reports have appeared in the British and French press claiming that Galatasaray has reached an agreement on transfer terms with İlkay Gündoğan.
However, an official response to these claims has come from Galatasaray.
Galatasaray executive Abdullah Kavukçu stated in his announcement that there is currently no transfer situation involving İlkay Gündoğan.
Kavukçu said, "İlkay is a very special and important player. However, the statements made on my behalf do not reflect the truth. Galatasaray's transfer agenda prioritizes the signing of Osimhen and a goalkeeper."
