Statement from Galatasaray regarding Noa Lang and Osimhen

Galatasaray Club Doctor Yener İnce provided an update on the health status of injured players Noa Lang and Victor Osimhen.

In his statement, İnce said, "I would like to talk about the situation of our two players who were injured in the Champions League Round of 16 match against Liverpool. Our player Noa Lang suffered a serious injury to the first finger of his right hand. There is no complete amputation of the finger; I want to clarify that, but there is a serious injury. Since this area needed to be repaired immediately, a successful operation was performed in Liverpool as quickly as possible without bringing him to Istanbul.

While there are currently no problems, we as the Galatasaray medical team are monitoring his progress. We are in close contact with the Netherlands National Team medical staff, with whom we have had good communication for a long time.

Lang will not play in the Netherlands National Team's first match; we plan for him to return to the pitch for their second match if conditions allow, following evaluations to be made afterward.

We aim for Noa Lang to return to the pitch as soon as possible with a special training program. Our other player, Victor Osimhen, underwent a successful operation today. Our player's process will be monitored day by day, and our medical team will do what is necessary for him to return to the pitch as soon as possible. Updated information regarding the process will be shared with the public by our club."
