In his statement to the Spanish press, Angel Haro said, "The seller tries to say they sold as expensively as possible, and the buyer tries to say they bought as cheaply as possible. There is nothing wrong with the figures. A portion of the net transfer fee also includes the player's salary."

GALATASARAY'S PUBLIC DISCLOSURE PLATFORM (KAP) STATEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS;
"An agreement has been reached with Real Betis Balompié SAD for the transfer of our professional football player Cédric Bakambu. According to the agreement, Real Betis Balompié SAD will pay our company a net guaranteed fee of 5,000,000 euros, along with conditional bonuses amounting to a net 5,050,000 euros."
