Statement from the Arbitration Board regarding 67 referees

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board has issued a statement regarding the evaluation process for the appeals filed by 67 referees who were sanctioned by the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) on allegations of "betting."

In its announcement, the Board noted that it is reviewing the applications of 67 out of a total of 149 referees who received bans ranging from 8 to 12 months by the PFDK for the same reason, and that the examination of the files belonging to these referees is ongoing.

On the other hand, no information has yet been provided by the Arbitration Board regarding the remaining 82 referees who were sanctioned by the PFDK.

Furthermore, it was stated that the investigation concerning top-tier referees Zorbay Küçük and Melih Kurt, as well as divisional referee Mertcan Tubay, is still continuing within the PFDK.
