In a written statement shared on the club's social media account, Kıyak noted that events were experienced today in front of everyone's eyes, in plain sight, which have been written into history in black letters.
Expressing that he was aware that a statement was expected from him regarding these events, Kıyak stated the following:
"I have chosen to remain silent until Monday, observing the events for a short time, so as not to hurt anyone's feelings and not to cast suspicion on my fellow athletes and valuable sports workers who have remained clean in this dirty league. As a result of the consultations I have held with both my esteemed board members and our club lawyers, I respectfully inform the public that we will not allow this incident to be covered up and that we will follow the process to the end in order to support clean football. Let no one have any doubt that we will win on the pitch the championship that is not won at the desk."
Vanspor FK, which was playing away against Bursaspor today in the final week of the regular season in the TFF 2nd League White Group, withdrew from the pitch in the 22nd minute of the match on the grounds that Serik Belediyespor had fielded its under-19 team in their match against Esenler Erokspor.
