Statement on Morutan from Emre Belözoğlu!
MKE Ankaragücü Manager Emre Belözoğlu made statements regarding the contract situation of Olimpiu Morutan. Belözoğlu said, "If Morutan plays, there is a transfer fee that our club cannot afford. Unless the two clubs reach an agreement, it does not seem possible for Morutan to play in the starting 11."
Süper Lig'de İstanbulspor'la 1-1 berabere kaldıkları maçtan sonra düzenlenen basın toplantısında konuşan Belözoğlu, Morutan'ın neden oynamadığıyla ilgili olarak, "Morutan ilk 11 oynamaya devam ederse kulübe çıkacak bir külfet var. Morutan'ın oynaması durumunda kulübümüzün kaldıramayacağı bir bonservis bedeli var. İki kulüp anlaşmadığı sürece Morutan, ilk 11 oynaması pek mümkün gözükmüyor. İki kulüp anlaşmadığı sürece 11'de oynayamaz" şeklinde konuştu.
"IF THERE WERE 30 DIFFERENT SCENARIOS, THIS WOULD BE THE WORST"
"Presidents manage the clubs, managers manage the pitch," said Belözoğlu, adding that they did not get the points they deserved for their performance, stating, "I am sad. I don't know if being sad is enough. In a match we started so well, if there were 30 different scenarios, this would be the worst. From now on, we will clearly fight to stay in the league. We have no other goal in the league. If anyone thinks of another goal, I disagree. We saw this clearly today; Ankaragücü is very alone on the pitch. As I promised after the Kayserispor match, I will fight until the end," he said.
THE REFEREE WAS VERY BAD
Evaluating the referee of the match, Belözoğlu said, "There was a very poor referee performance. Being satisfied with the referees is nothing more than playing Pollyanna."
