Stone attack on Galatasaray bus: Crack in the window draws attention
The Galatasaray team bus was pelted with stones after their 2-0 away victory against Göztepe in the 37th week of the Super Lig.
Galatasaray, having already declared themselves champions with one week left in the 2024-2025 Super Lig season, were guests of Göztepe in Izmir for their 37th-week match.
The yellow-reds, who took the field with a squad consisting mostly of substitute players, won the match 2-0 with goals from Kaan Ayhan and Alvaro Morata, extending their winning streak in the league to seven games.
However, an incident at the end of the match cast a shadow over the excitement of football. According to footage provided by the broadcaster, the team bus carrying the Galatasaray delegation was pelted with stones as it left the stadium.

In the footage, which quickly became a trending topic on social media, a noticeable crack in the bus window drew attention.
While no injuries were reported following the incident, the attack was met with backlash in the sports community.
As the yellow-reds head into the final week of the season with high morale, the victory brings them one step closer to adding their 25th championship trophy to their museum.
