Antalyaspor manager and Fenerbahçe legend Alex de Souza has made striking remarks about the Yellow-Navy Blues' new manager, Jose Mourinho.
Stating that Mourinho is one of the greatest names in world football history, Alex said, "His appointment brings a series of advantages and positive circumstances with it. The club went after this global weight."
Here are Alex's statements:
"A NAME WHO WANTS TO WIN"
"This is a clear message for the championship. The club went after a name whose quality is accepted worldwide. I don't know the details, his plans, or the goals presented to him, but wherever he is, Mourinho is a manager who always wants to win. We are sure of this. This should be the main idea."
"HE WANTS TO EXPAND HIS RECORD"
"Jose Mourinho is one of the best in history. He has done very successful work and is now going to a new country to experience a new moment. He doesn't have to prove anything to anyone! He is going to Fenerbahçe to seek more with the ambition he has always shown and to expand his record of success."
"IT WILL ALIGN WITH THE FANS"
"I believe that Mourinho's passionate way of working, which is always present, will align with the emotions of the Fenerbahçe fans. He will love the warmth and the dedication of the stands."
"I HOPE HE SUCCEEDS"
"When I talk to Mourinho, I will give him a strong and sincere hug. I wish him success. I hope he manages to align his ideas with what the club envisions."
