Continuing its transfer efforts ahead of the new season, it has been claimed that Trabzonspor has made significant progress for Aral Şimşir, who plays for the Danish team Midtjylland.
According to the report by 61 Saat, the burgundy-blue management has reached a 4-year agreement with the 24-year-old left winger. It was stated that Trabzonspor has intensified its contacts with Midtjylland following previously rejected offers.
The report stated that Trabzonspor has accepted the Danish representative's transfer fee expectation of 13 million Euros plus bonuses. It was noted that if this figure is realized, the transfer will go down in history as the highest transfer fee in the club's history.
While it is stated that an agreement has been reached with both the player and his club, Trabzonspor is expected to request permission from Midtjylland to have Aral Şimşir undergo medical examinations, with the official contract to be signed following that process.
Aral Şimşir appeared in 54 matches for Midtjylland in the 2025/26 season. The 24-year-old footballer scored 12 goals and provided 21 assists in these matches.
