As Israel's attacks on Palestine continue, a flash move has come from the German club.
German team Mainz 05 announced that it has terminated the contract of El Ghazi, who shared a post in support of Palestine.
It was stated that this decision was taken despite the Moroccan-born Dutch player removing his post.
Mainz had added the Dutch right-winger to its squad during the summer transfer window.
El Ghazi, who appeared in 3 matches for the German team, managed to provide 1 assist.
