The 7th week of the Süper Lig will begin on Friday with the Galatasaray-Kasımpaşa match. However, despite the short time remaining before the matches start, the referee appointments have not yet been announced.
Following the arrest of Central Referee Board (MHK) President Ferhat Gündoğdu, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) stated in an announcement that referee appointments would be made by MHK Vice President Hikmet Öksüzoğlu and MHK members Ali Zağlı, Kamil Abitoğlu, İbrahim Çınar, and Ziya Çetin.
WILL APPOINTMENTS BE GIVEN TO TAYLOR?
A new claim regarding referee appointments has emerged.
According to a report by HT Spor, the referee appointments for the 7th week of the Süper Lig will be carried out by former English referee Anthony Taylor, who serves as the MHK Elite Referee Director.
Taylor, who ended his active refereeing career after the 2026 World Cup, began serving as the Elite Referee Director within the MHK at the start of the season.
