Talisca's statement on the penalty
Fenerbahçe's Brazilian footballer Anderson Talisca spoke about the penalty he missed in the Galatasaray derby.
Fenerbahçe's experienced attacker Anderson Talisca made a statement on Instagram regarding the penalty he missed in the Galatasaray derby.
Talisca said, "I am the one who takes the penalty. The responsibility is mine. It is in moments like these that you see who your true teammates are. No one told me to take the penalty because I am the one who takes them.
I took this responsibility because it is my duty. If I had scored the goal in the derby, I would have been the best. Just as I have been in many matches before. But ultimately, this is part of the game.
I respect everyone's opinion. But I know what kind of player I am.
That is why I wear this jersey. I play in different positions and I do it with pride.
I have only one goal: to help the club become champions. I do not hide from anything or anyone."
