Beşiktaş’s former player and manager Tayfur Havutçu, who has been receiving treatment for an illness for some time, has been admitted to intensive care as a precautionary measure.
His wife, Neslihan Havutçu, clarified the reports circulating on social media regarding her husband and provided information about his health status.
Neslihan Havutçu stated that her husband was hospitalized about a week ago due to an infection.
Expressing that some values came back high during the latest routine check-ups, Havutçu said, “He was admitted to intensive care as a precautionary measure. The values are dropping day by day, and with God's permission, he will be moved to a regular ward soon.”
STATEMENT FROM HIS WIFE
Denying reports that the Beşiktaş community has not been looking after them, Neslihan Havutçu said, “During this process, we have received great support from the community, including both our new and former executives. We thank them very much. As always, we preferred to keep this process private out of respect for my husband's values and to avoid upsetting our loved ones and the community. Thank you very much for your kind wishes and prayers.”
It has been learned that Tayfur Havutçu’s health is improving and he will be moved to a regular ward shortly.
