Tedesco statement following Fenerbahçe board's emergency meeting: Have they parted ways?
An emergency meeting was held at Fenerbahçe following their 2-0 defeat to Fatih Karagümrük in the 26th week of the Süper Lig. The first statement has been made following the board's meeting.
Fenerbahçe spokesperson Ali Gürbüz made statements following the match.
Responding to the question of whether they have parted ways with head coach Domenico Tedesco, Gürbüz said, "No such decision has been made. We will make a statement later!"
Fenerbahçe suffered its first league defeat of the season, losing 2-0 to Fatih Karagümrük in the 26th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig.
The goals that brought victory to the home side were scored by Bartuğ Elmaz, who is on loan to Karagümrük from Fenerbahçe, in the 15th minute, and Serginho in the 45+1st minute.

Gathering with an "emergency" code following the match, the Fenerbahçe board held a meeting at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.
Speaking to HT Spor at the end of the meeting, Fenerbahçe Press Spokesperson Ali Gürbüz responded to a journalist's question, "Have you parted ways with Tedesco?" by saying, "No such decision has been made. We will make a statement later!"
