Tedesco's take on the draw: It's a shame
Fenerbahçe manager Domenico Tedesco spoke about the points gap following their draw against Kasımpaşa.
Fenerbahçe missed a major opportunity in the title race after conceding a goal in the 90+11th minute to draw 1-1 against Kasımpaşa, whom they hosted in the 23rd week of the Süper Lig.
Domenico Tedesco said, "We need to analyze the match regardless of the points. We need to analyze the match whether we win or lose. Today, we watched two different halves in the match. We experienced many problems during the game. We had to change our two center-backs, and Skriniar had also suffered an injury. We had to change our system at the start of the second half. Even though we had only worked on this system once, the team spread out on the pitch very well. We played with pressure and found the goal. Then we conceded. It's a shame. We need to look ahead and continue. We still have a long way to go. We are still on the road."
Regarding the injuries, Tedesco stated, "We experienced problems one after another. We had to make 2 substitutions in the first half. We couldn't win, but we are not very unhappy. We played dominantly in the second half. Ederson and Talisca have issues. Skriniar and Çağlar are injured. Oosterwolde is suspended for the return leg. Fred is suspended. We will also see if Yiğit Efe Demir can handle three matches."
