Terrible accident at the Kocaelispor - Amedspor match! 16-year-old youth seriously injured
A Kocaelispor fan fell from the stands and was seriously injured during the match between Kocaelispor and Amed Sportif Faaliyetler in the 23rd week of the Trendyol 1st League.
During the match played at the Yıldız Entegre Kocaeli Stadium, 16-year-old Kocaelispor fan Efe Kartal Öztay lost his balance and fell from the upper stands behind the goal.
Öztay, who was seriously injured after hitting his head, was taken to Kocaeli City Hospital by 112 Emergency Health teams.
It was learned that the young fan has been taken into intensive care.
In a post shared on Kocaelispor's social media account regarding the incident, the following statements were included: "We have learned with sadness that the condition of our fan Efe Kartal Öztay, who fell and injured his head during the match we played today, is critical as a result of the examinations. Come on Efe! There are many trophies to be won, get back on your feet!"
