After Israel's attacks on Palestine, Benzema shared a message of support for Gaza, stating, "All our prayers are once again for the residents of Gaza who are victims of these unjust bombings that do not spare women or children."
ACCUSATION OF 'LINKS TO A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION'
According to a report on NTV, following this message, Benzema faced accusations from the French Ministry of the Interior of having 'links to a terrorist organization.'
Following this statement, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin appeared on a live broadcast on Cnews Network and said, "Karim Benzema has notorious links to the Muslim Brotherhood organization. This group is designated as a terrorist organization in Europe."
French MP Valerie Bouay has called for Benzema to be stripped of his French citizenship.
