The tension between Ukraine and Russia is affecting Galatasaray. Galatasaray is experiencing a dilemma regarding Tete, whom they acquired without paying a transfer fee.
DISPUTES CONTINUE
According to the Türkiye newspaper, while the yellow-red management conducted a detailed legal review and reached an agreement before signing, it is stated that his former club, Shakhtar Donetsk, is demanding a high compensation of 150 million euros from Galatasaray. As the dispute between the two clubs continues, it has been stated that the matter will be evaluated by FIFA.
Okan Buruk, despite the player's undeniable quality, is moving forward on the path to victory by keeping the Brazilian player away from the events. However, it is stated that he is considering selling the player during the mid-season break to avoid any trouble.
BOUND FOR SAUDI ARABIA
The yellow-red club may evaluate incoming offers for Tete in order to prevent the compensation issue from causing further problems. According to claims in the Ukrainian press, the attacking player could transfer to Saudi Arabia for a high fee.
Tete has played in 16 matches this season, recording 1 goal and 2 assists.
