Tevfik Yamantürk speaks out after punch-up tension at Beşiktaş Divan Board meeting: 'What did I do?'

The Beşiktaş Divan Board meeting was the scene of a major crisis. Former president of the black-and-white club, Hasan Arat, was subjected to a physical assault while speaking at the podium. The figure at the center of the incident was Divan Board President Tevfik Yamantürk.

In the moments captured on video, a heated argument broke out between Hasan Arat, who had taken the floor at the podium, and Tevfik Yamantürk. As the argument escalated, Yamantürk punched Arat at the podium. The assault did not stop there. Following Yamantürk, another individual entered the fray and physically attacked Arat.

Following the events, the meeting was adjourned, while tensions in the hall remained high for some time. 

'WHAT DID I DO' REMARK  

The question "Are you regretful?" posed by members of the press to Tevfik Yamantürk as he left the hall after the meeting received a striking response. After a brief pause, Yamantürk said, "What did I do?" and quickly left the hall.
