TFF announces: 8 clubs from the Süper Lig referred to the PFDK

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Legal Consultancy has announced that 8 clubs have been referred to the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK) following matches played in the Trendyol Süper Lig Adnan Süvari Season.

The clubs referred are Galatasaray, Kasımpaşa, Gençlerbirliği, Amed Sportif Faaliyetler, Samsunspor, Trabzonspor, Beşiktaş, and Kocaelispor. The reasons for the referrals include "ugly and bad chanting," "field incidents," and "failure to keep stairwells clear."

The statement also reported that Kocaelispor technical director Selçuk İnan, Trabzonspor player Melih Kabasakal, and Eyüpspor player Ahmed Abdullahi have been referred to the PFDK.

REASONS FOR REFERRAL

Galatasaray was sent to the board due to "ugly and bad chanting" and "field incidents" during the Galatasaray-Kasımpaşa match played on October 9. In the same match, Kasımpaşa was also referred to the PFDK for "ugly and bad chanting."

Following the Gençlerbirliği-Amed Sportif Faaliyetler match played on October 10, Gençlerbirliği was referred to the disciplinary board for "ugly and bad chanting," while Amed Sportif Faaliyetler was referred for "field incidents."

In the Samsunspor-Trabzonspor match, Samsunspor was sent to the PFDK for "ugly and bad chanting," while a referral decision was made against Trabzonspor for both "ugly and bad chanting" and "field incidents." Trabzonspor's Melih Kabasakal was also referred to the PFDK with precautionary measures starting from October 11 due to his "unsportsmanlike conduct" in the same match.

Following the Beşiktaş-Kocaelispor match, Beşiktaş was sent to the board for "ugly and bad chanting" and "field incidents." Kocaelispor was referred to the PFDK for these two reasons, in addition to "failure to keep stairwells clear."

Kocaelispor technical director Selçuk İnan was referred without precautionary measures for his comments during the post-match flash interview and press conference, citing "statements aimed at damaging the reputation of football." Eyüpspor's Ahmed Abdullahi was referred to the PFDK with precautionary measures starting from October 13 due to his "unsportsmanlike conduct" in the Eyüpspor-Göztepe match played on October 12.
