TFF announces names of football agents who placed bets
The Turkish Football Federation has referred 104 football agents who placed bets to the Professional Football Discipline Committee. The agents, who include a former Süper Lig referee, have been placed under disciplinary proceedings. Among these names is Cenk Ergün, who previously served at Galatasaray.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has initiated disciplinary proceedings against 104 football agents determined to have placed bets during their active periods. The TFF announced that these agents were referred to the Professional Football Discipline Committee (PFDK) as of January 7, 2026, in accordance with Article 57 of the Football Disciplinary Instructions.
FORMER SÜPER LİG REFEREE ALSO AMONG THEM
Among the referred agents is Cem Deda, a former Süper Lig referee who began working as an agent after ending his refereeing career. After working as an agent at Antalyaspor, Deda was appointed as sporting director by Antalyaspor Vice President Mehmet Aygün in 2014.
The most notable name among these agents is Cenk Ergün, who also served at Galatasaray for a period.
