TFF announces new Referee Development Director
The TFF has announced that Vitor Melo Pereira has been appointed as the Referee Development Director.
The statement made by the TFF is as follows:
"Referee Development Director Dr. Vitor Melo Pereira has begun his duties as of today.
He visited Turkish Football Federation President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu in his office, accompanied by Central Referee Board (MHK) President Dr. Ferhat Gündoğdu.
TFF Board Consultant Serdar Yıldız also attended the meeting, which took place at the Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities.
We have high confidence that Vitor Melo Pereira, who served as an elite-level FIFA referee for many years and has held referee management positions in his home country of Portugal as well as many other countries, will make significant contributions to the restructuring of the Turkish refereeing education system and the acquisition of new talent through this role within the MHK.
He will serve on a full-time basis, and the contract duration is two years."
